Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) (Exit Site)
VAERS collects and analyzes information from reports of adverse events following immunization. The AAP and VAERS reminds healthcare professionals to report adverse events following any vaccination…even if your not sure a vaccine was the cause! You can report online through a secure VAERS Web site; send a completed form by fax to 877/721-0366; or mail a completed VAERS form to VAERS, P.O. Box 1100, Rockville, MD, 20849-1100.

National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) (Exit Site)
The VICP is a no-fault alternative to the traditional tort system for resolving vaccine injury claims. The VICP covers all vaccines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for routine administration to children.

National Immunization Survey Results (Exit Site)
The NIS measures national and state immunization rates. Click here for information on rates from 1994-present.

This new guide from the AAP helps out-of-home caregivers prevent, identify, and respond to the most common childhood infectious diseases.

Public Health Preparedness Training (Exit Site)
The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), in collaboration with CDC, has developed a CD-ROM training tool to assist public health agencies to assess current health preparedness levels and create new response plans with partner groups.
